Oh the weather outside is ….. well, where I live it is actually pretty nice out, but that is NOT always the case.  HA!

Today I made a layout for a picture of my daughter catching snowflakes.  The photo was taken her freshman year at college, and where she went, they didn’t see much in the way of snow, most often it was ice.

In the photo of her, she is wearing a pretty pink hat and I colored the Mary Christmas image and another Catching Snowflakes (see last week) both of them from Sunsational Stamp Shop.  I die cut snowflakes from a Darice Snowflake Die.  I colored in the image with both Copic and ShinHan alcohol markers.  My Let It Snow stamp is an older hostess set from CTMH.  The images and the photo mat are cut from Bazzill Nautical Dark Blue cardstock and mounted onto Recollections Say Freeze paper line.  There was plenty of sequins snowflakes and Wink of Stella added here and there to give a shimmery, frosty feel.

Happy frosty greetings to you!  Today I was straightening out my craft room and going through my mega-stash when I came across a Project Life album that I had forgotten I won at a crop.  It was then that I had one of those Ah-Ha moments… why not make inserts for my PL book?!  Soooo, I made this card using Sunsational Stamps, Catching Snowflakes image.  She is so darned cute!

I used Stickles to accent the snow drifts and snowflakes on the image as well as creating additional snowflakes on the background.  I colored her in using alcohol markers.

To purchase this and many, many more adorable images please head on over to Sunsational Stamps Shop and we would love it if you would follow our blog by clicking on the ‘Follow Me’ button and Like us on Facebook so you don’t miss a thing!

Polar Bear Fun!

Polar Bear Holiday!

Holiday greetings!  Well, there are only a few days left to shop, create & wrap…no pressure.  😉

Here is a quick card and tag I made.  This first one I used Close To My Heart Polar Bear Holiday.  This set has sentiments, several adorable polar bear (and a pal) in various poses, and of course these adorable tiny snowflakes.  I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the polar bear and I used CTMH Lagoon ink for the snowflakes.  Next I colored it in using my ShinHan alcohol markers and added some CTMH frosted bling.  I used CTMH papers and some Queen & Co Washi tape.  Done in about 15 minutes!

Next up this cute penguin gift tag.  I absolutely fell in love with Stamps by Judith.  I discovered her at the Scrapbook Expo in St. Charles, Illinois this past summer and I had to have one of her adorable penguin stamps.

I colored him in with the ShinHan markers, stamped the background with that irresistible tiny snowflakes stamp and added some Stickles to the snow mound.  I fussy cut out several little Christmas lights (also a Stamp by Judith) and “strung” it together with silver thread, adhering it with glue dots to give the lights dimension.
