Howdy all, hoping everyone is staying warm.

Today at Scrap Your Stash we are remixing a fab layout and this is my spin on it.

Love Bandits

I really used a great mix of my stash, including paper from Bella Blvd, Close To My Heart and a huge pad called Newsworthy.  I used dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs and Kat Scrappiness.  Alphas from my stash and rub ons from Doodlebug Designs.  Topped it off with some gems and hearts from above mentioned companies.

Below is the great design we scraplifted it from.  We would love to have you play along and join our challenge.  Please head over to Scrap Your Stash

Hi All, today I made my card for the July Scrap The Boys Card Challenge.  It is a birthday card for my Son-in-Law and I colored the pickup truck to match his real one!

Pickup in Pieces Birthday Card

This month is a sketch challenge and the prize is posted below.

Here is the sketch, and we would love if you would play along with us!  Just click here to get there!

I used the pickup truck from Honey Bee Stamps, Little Pickup.  I colored it with alcohol markers.  I actually stamped two of them, so when I die cut the circles out of the truck sections I didn’t have to worry about overlap.

I mounted the sections of the truck onto grey cardstock circles that I die cut one size up from the truck sections.  I then mounted that onto CTMH tone on tone cardstock that was cut about 2/3 of the way down to create two sections.  I cut the Happy Birthday using my Elizabeth Craft Design die, cutting it out of two different shades of blue to create a shadow by mounting the lighter layer slightly off-center of the bottom layer.  I added this to a white card base and added distressed silver sequins from Close To My Heart and called it done.

Please head on over to the Scrap The Boys blog to see all the inspiration and we would love to see your card entered in the challenge too!  Just click here to get there!  I hope you enjoyed today’s card and are inspired to join in on the fun.  Please follow our blog by clicking on the “Follow Me” button and Like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram so you don’t miss a thing.  Thanks for stopping by!

Alcohol Marker, Coffee Loving Card Makers, Elizabeth Craft Designs, Microfine Glitter, Peel & Stick, Sunny Studios, Your Next Stamp

Hi all, I have been eagerly awaiting the next Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop and it is HERE!!!  Woohoo!  Today I made a birthday card for one of my dear friends, and I thought she would love the pun.

Perk Up Card

I started with Your Next Stamp Crazy for Coffee patterned paper mounted on black cardstock, placed on a white card base.  Next I die cut Sunny Studios Fancy Frames Square dies, and placed the outside scallop on the bottom with the coffee cup (info on that to follow) and the inside scallop frame around the Perk Up sentiment that I white heat embossed.  That sentiment came from an A-Muse coffee themed stamp set.

The coffee mug was a Peel & Stick outline sticker from Elizabeth Craft Designs and put it onto Elizabeth Craft Designs Microfine glitter paper and colored it in using alcohol markers.  I fussy cut it out and popped it up with the frame.

The inside teacup and teapot border was a die from Your Next Stamp.  I won both the patterned paper and that fabulous die (along with other great goodies) from them at the last coffee blog hop!!!  The Sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps (2 different sets), I like to mix it up, obviously!

I hope you enjoyed todays post and hop on over to Coffee Loving Cardmakers for a TON of caffeinated inspiration!  Please follow our blog by clicking on the “Follow Me” button and Like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram so you don’t miss a thing.  Thanks for stopping by!

Alcohol Marker, Distress Oxide Ink, Elizabeth Craft Designs, Faded Jeans, funky Line Panel Die, Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers, Queen & Co, Scrap The Boys, Shimmer Sheetz, StazOn Ink, Tim Holtz, Twisted Citron, Your Next Stamp

Hello, today we needed a card for the month of May’s Scrap The Boys Card Makers Challenge and the challenge was a fab mood board, that I have displayed below so you can play along too!

I love the colors and the stripes in this, so that is what I ran with….and I suppose the dog was a good substitute for the horse.  🙂

I used the Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs set along with the “Crazy Accessories” set for the hat stamp and balloon dies.  I colored the images with alcohol markers and used the matching dies to cut them out.  I cut balloons from Shimmer Sheetz by Elizabeth Craft Designs in the emerald and sapphire jewel tones.  I stamped JOEY 4 onto the balloons with StazOn Ink and tied them to the bone with black thread.

The background was made by blending Faded Jeans, Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks.  I spritzed it with water and dabbed dry to get the speckles.  I cut it out using my all time favorite background die, the Your Next Stamp Funky Line Panel Die and just adhered the whole kit-n-kaboodle to the medium blue card base.  I popped up the pup to give him a little more dimension.

The inside was stamped with the balloon from the previously mentioned set and I hand drew in the string that ties it to the sentiment from a Queen & Co gift box themed shaker card kit.

Salutations!  Today is my first post as a member of the fabulous Creative With Stamps Design Team and I am super excited.  It is also Creative With Stamps 2nd Anniversary!  The sponsor of this month’s challenge is Pattie’s Creations Digital Stamps, and I used her Black-eyed Susan digi.  I decided to make them into Purple Cornflowers, but that just shows how versatile these beautiful images are.

Pattie’s Creations Digital Stamps Black-eyed Susan

I colored this beautiful digital stamp with my alcohol markers and then sponged on Tea Dye Distress Ink as well as Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  I cut the card base using a large postage stamp die, but I first folded my cardstock in half, positioning the top part of the die above the top of the fold, this creates the postage stamp shaped card base.

I used the two larges frame dies by Elizabeth Craft Designs (they are retired and I don’t remember the name) to cut out a dark brown cardstock frame to make the image pop.  I added a bow using Doodlebug Baker’s Twine and popped the image up onto the card base using foam tape.  I added my sentiment and called it done.  🙂

Please stop by the challenge and link up one of your creations following the theme of CAS with a sentiment, by clicking Here.  We can’t wait to see the projects you come up with!

I hope you enjoyed today’s card, thank you for stopping by, please follow our blog by clicking on the “Follow Me” button and Like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram so you don’t miss a thing!

Welcome! Today I am making a card featuring Sunsational Stamps Arctic Cuties you can find it Here.  I love the little penguins and wanted to make a slider card and have my little male penguin sliding down to be next to his love. ❤

I printed the images onto white card stock, colored them in with alcohol markers and fussy cut them out. For the snow banks and background I die cut the Little Town border twice, one on white card stock and one that I had sponged with Distress Oxide ink in Wilted Violet, then I trimmed the houses off the white one so I could use the lower portion as the snow-covered hill they reside on.  I cut another hill with a second landscape die  from Lawn Fawn.  I die cut the slider piece in the bottom snow bank piece using Elizabeth Craft Designs Sliders and Spinners die set.  I attached the boy penguin using two pennies and foam dots to assemble the slider mechanism.  This panel was popped up on the top snow hill using a double layer of foam tape.

I used a light blue Bazzill textured card stock for the sky panel.  I added snow using my Nuvo Crystal Drops in Simply White.

2 Crafty Critter Crazies, Elizabeth Craft Designs, Strawberry Jude Stamps

Greetings!  I needed a card for my friend’s birthday, so I was very excited to use Strawberry Jude Stamps adorable digi of four critters singing their little hearts out.  This digi was free last month to celebrate their 2nd Birthversary.  You can find their shop Here

I colored these adorable guys with my alcohol markers, and accented their little cheeks with tiny white gel pen dots.

I cut a speech bubble out with my Elizabeth Craft Designs die and embossed it with my musical notes embossing folder.  I mounted the speech bubble onto the panel with the colored digital image and matted that onto black cardstock. I assembled a layer of patterned paper to a black card base and added glitter tape prior to adding the top layer.

I also thought this would be a perfect entry for the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge #9, which you can link to Here.  Their challenges are anything goes, but you must have a critter real or mythical be the focal point.

Gobble Til You Wobble and Wobble and Wobble

Action Wobbler, Alcohol Marker, Authentique, Elizabeth Craft Designs, Queen & Co, Studio Calico, Sunsational Stamps

Gobble, gobble!  Who doesn’t indulge just a little too much on Thanksgiving?  I saw Sunsational Stamps adorable Tom Turkey image and I instantly thought of him wobbling, so I grabbed one of those Action Wobblers, printed out Tom Turkey and got coloring.  I used alcohol markers on him, I did not take the time to shade him as I think he is very cartoony and whimsical looking so the solid coloring fits the mood.  I cut him out leaving a slight border and added the wobbler to the back.

Sunsational Stamps Tom Turkey

I wanted to make a raised top panel so I die cut a 3″ circle centering it horizontally, but cutting it more toward the top half on a piece of brown patterned paper from my stash.  I also die cut a piece of fun foam at the same time to use that to raise the panel. I die cut a dark brown twig wreath from one of my Elizabeth Craft Designs dies to frame out the opening and my wobbly turkey!  I added Queen & Co Orange Slice gems to the wreath.  I made a GOBBLE sentiment block using some of my Authentique letters.  I adhered this top panel to the cream-colored card base, added my wobbly turkey and moved on to the inside.

I die cut 3 colorful feathers from a Studio Calico die that my sweet and generous daughter gifted me from her stash.  I layered the dark brown paper, brown patterned paper and an additional cream piece that I had printed ’til you Wobble on.  I added the feathers and added these layers to the inside and called it done!

I thought this was a good entry for the November Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge, where anything goes as long as the focal point is a critter….and Tom Turkey is just that!  please head on over to:  https://2craftycrittercrazies.blogspot.com/2017/11/challenge-8-sponsored-by-sparkle-n.html and see all the inspiration!

Alcohol Marker, Art Philosophy, Bazzill, Close To My Heart, Copic, Elizabeth Craft Designs, Honey Bee Stamps, Lawn Fawn, Nuvo Crystal Drops, Ranger, Sunsational Stamps, Wink of Stella

Sweet greetings to y’all, today I made an anniversary card for my hubby.  I used the adorable Woodsy Critters digi set from Sunsational Stamps that you can get Here. This set is packed with many adorable images…critters and their accessories.  🙂

I chose the bear…as you can tell from previous posts, I am partial to bears.  I colored him with Copic markers.  I also colored and die cut some adorable bees and hearts from one of my favorite Honey Bee Stamp sets Busy Bees and the sentiment was from the Bee-You-tiful Sentiments set, which I embossed with an older Ranger embossing powder in Lettuce Green.  The hive was made using two kinds of hearts from the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  The tree branch was actually the tree from my Elizabeth Craft Designs die All Seasons Tree.  I am famous for using die cuts in a non traditional way…I like to get the most bang for my buck!

I added Wink of Stella shimmer to the bees wings and the hearts.  I used Ebony Nuvo Drops for his eyes.  I LOVE the look on his adorable little face.

I used a Lawn Fawn landscape die on some Bazzill cardstock in green (sorry, I forgot to take note of the color name) added that to sky blue cardstock.  Mounted that onto a piece of Kraft cardstock and put the whole kit-n-kaboodle onto the card base.  I forgot to mention that I had popped up the “beehive” and I did not adhere the leaves down, just the stem so the leaves have a little dimension.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card.  Please follow the blog by clicking on the “Follow Me” button, Like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram so you don’t miss a thing!

Greetings, today I wanted to make an autumn card with one of my favorite woodland critters…a fox!  I am partial to foxes because my grand-pup is a Yorkie, but he looks just like a baby fox.  Swoon…  You can find Sunsational Stamps Woodsy Critters Here, this digi set is such a bargain!  You get so many adorable woodland animals plus a few extras!

Foxy Fall Card

I colored the fox and log with my alcohol markers and fussy cut them out.  I used Elizabeth Craft Designs All Season Tree dies to cut out the tree and autumn colored leaves.  I used a postage stamp style die for the blue (sky) background and mounted that all on a muted army green card base.  I adhered all the elements and popped the fox up with foam tape.

I hope you liked today’s card, and we would love it if you would follow the blog by clicking on the “Follow Me” button, Like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram so you don’t miss a thing!
