Beary Fun

Greetings, today at Scrap Our Stash the challenge is to use the following sketch as our blueprint.

I used Echo Park’s The Great Outdoors line and added Heidi Swapp resist arrow embellishments that I sponged with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. The cute little bag that houses the journaling tag was from a Webster’s mystery box from a few years ago. There was a ton of fabulous papers and goodies in the box! I used Thickers for the title.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Please head over to Scrap Our Stash here http://scrapourstash.blogspot.com

Scrap Our Stash March Remix Challenge

Hi Friends!  Today the layout is for Scrap Our Stash March remix challenge.  I know some people may be completely OVER the holidays and winter but I had to pull out my Simple Stories Jingle All The Way papers, sticker and ephemera, I have been very excited to use it, so I hope you all don’t mind.
Home for the Holidays
I added a border of houses punched from an old punch in my stash.  I splattered some Heidi Swapp Color Shine spritz in Tinsel and Gold.  I also added black flat gems from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

here is the remix layout you need to adapt/lift to play along.

Sisters

Hello crafty friends, today at Scrap Our Stash the challenge utilizes a sketch (posted at the bottom) and you must use either a heart embellishment or heart patterned paper or both! I used both.

Sisters

I was so excited to use up some of my Cocoa Vanilla Day Dream scraps I am so in love with this line!  I used Rockabye Thickers for the title and found a little wooden banner embellishment left over from an old Studio Calico kit.  The super adorable corduroy heart I used from Cocoa Vanilla was my favorite.

Howdy all, hoping everyone is staying warm.

Today at Scrap Your Stash we are remixing a fab layout and this is my spin on it.

Love Bandits

I really used a great mix of my stash, including paper from Bella Blvd, Close To My Heart and a huge pad called Newsworthy.  I used dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs and Kat Scrappiness.  Alphas from my stash and rub ons from Doodlebug Designs.  Topped it off with some gems and hearts from above mentioned companies.

Below is the great design we scraplifted it from.  We would love to have you play along and join our challenge.  Please head over to Scrap Your Stash

Florals & Foils

Howdy-do all! I was making a birthday card for my Sister-in-law and I wanted to incorporate 3 elements; first a bicycle, she loves biking, second a floral background so I could enter it in the Unity Stamps January challenge and finally I wanted to foil the bicycle. I love this image from Unity’s set Enjoy The Ride!

Enjoy The Ride

I used the flower cluster from Angie Girl’s Dream With Your Heart on the background mat. I colored them in using colored pencils and highlighted with gel pens and stamped “birthday wishes” from the Birthday Wishes Peeps set from Unity.

When I foiled the bicycle image I used Ranger Sticky Embossing Powder, then after heat setting it (which makes it sticky) I used a combo of Ranger Rose Gold foil which came in a multi pack of several gem tones and whatever areas didn’t initially adhere I used TheraWeb silver foil and just kept dabbing here and there to achieve the look I wanted. I was very happy with the results, I hope she likes it too!

Twin Talk

Welcome back! Scrap Our Stash has another fun challenge for January, it’s time for the monthly sketch challenge. Please pop over for inspiration and have fun playing along too! Click on the link to get to SOS, http://scrapourstash.blogspot.com/?m=1

We are working off this sketch here:

I had fun creating the background with Distress inks and stencils. I used leftover scraps from mY Echo Park It’s A Girl scrapbook kit from Scrapbook and Cards Today. I pretty much followed the sketch verbatim. The added challenge (element) was to add journaling strips which believe it or not I have never done, well, not my journaling, I have added preprinted words and phrases, but not my actual journaling and I really like the look of it.
This is my take on it.

Snow Angels

Welcome fellow papercrafters! Today I am SO excited to share with you my very first post as a Design Team member of Scrap Our Stash. This is a super fun challenge blog, so please head on over to play along too, just follow this link. http://scrapourstash.blogspot.com

The first challenge this month is a remix on a previous design, here is my take on it.

I used Echo Park’s Celebrate Winter line, I absolutely love the color palate! It’s primarily red, white & blue without looking like July 4th. 😊 I used my Cricut Close To My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge to cut a giant snowflake out of an 8″ circle, to use as my anchor for the photo mat. Part of the challenge is to use two different alphas in the title, I love that look, I think it adds real interest.

I hope you liked today’s project and I hope you play along with Scrap Our Stash challenge. Visit it often for inspiration! Please follow our blog by subscribing and follow us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/Paper-Canvas-Creations-621386291288671/.

Sunshine & Smiles

Howdy do!  Today I took a trip down memory lane… last year (when traveling was easy and fun) my bestie since High School and I had gone to the Gulf Coast of Florida for some R&R, the smiles on our faces says it all!

I used Close To My Heart paper, Die cut some embellies and basically raided my stash.  I was able to enter several challenges with this layout, so I was super excited.  Please follow my various links back to the challenge blogs for tons of creative inspiration.

Bundles of Joy

Greetings fellow paper crafters!  Today I scrapped a single page layout featuring my beautiful twin baby granddaughters.  I used Bazzil cardstock in a dark pink as the base then I added paper and some elements from one of my Clique Kits.  The alphas were Rockabye Thickers from my stash and Magical Forest alphas from Crate Paper.  I Die cut twig wreaths and flowers to add a little something more.  After adhering the little flowers I used a white gel pen to doodle meandering stitches connecting all the flowers.

Bundle of Joy
